Oh how I wish I could’ve shared this with each and every one of you!!! I actually always feel really bad for uploading food photography because I know it always makes MY stomach growl when I see photos of food…
I’ve been diggin’ peach pancakes lately. I’ve always made blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry pancakes, but never thought to try peach. *Amazingly* delicious. The donuts and cider are from my favorite little local family-owned orchard. They make the best, hands down. Apples are from that same orchard, hand picked by yours truly. Peaches are from my Grandpa’s trees. And that honey is actually from a friend down the road, who’s bees that made that honey were actually on OUR flowers this past Summer. How sweet is that?!? (*ba dum tsh)
It’s wonderful to know where your food comes from, especially when it’s grown/made naturally right in your area. How it used to be back in the day, and how it should remain for generations to come.
How has everyone’s Autumn been?!? I want deets in the comments. ^_~ Mine has been filled with just about everything you could want at this time o’ year, and I couldn’t be happier and more grateful. Orchards, apples, peaches, pumpkins, cider, tea, honey, hot chocolate, delicious food, decorating, reading, colorful leaves, chilly weather, hay hauling, horse riding, bike riding, hiking, parks… It’s been sooo much fun, and I’ve gotten to see my best friend who’s been like a sister to me since Kindergarden (we went to the orchard together on a beautiful sunny day), *and* hang out with my Busha and Papa (my Ma and I took them to another orchard to pick apples on another beautiful sunny day) — folks I’ve been away from for far too long. And we created more memories that will last forever. All I can say is, surround yourself with people that love you. Don’t worry about the ones that hurt you, they don’t matter. Be with people who you love, who love you for you, and you’ll be happy. And, please, cherish those times.
I’ve got lots of photographs for you guys to catch up on. Don’t worry, I’ll be back to the ones from the Western Realm afterwards. So, hope you enjoy these next batches I’ve taken this Fall!! XOXO ♡ ♡ ♡
